EIS maintains currency with the PCI Data Security Standards central to the collections industry.

Secure

EIS must and does maintain the highest possible standards of data security. EIS is PCI compliant and with ISO/IEC-1779-2005 standard, the latest and most comprehensive set of information security requirements. In order to maintain compliance, EIS must continually address these security issues:

  • Establishing and maintaining up-to-date security policies and practices
  • Managing information assets
  • Ensuring the security of the physical environment supporting the information systems, including access control
  • Overseeing communications and information
  • Acquiring and maintaining information systems, including hardware, software and communications
  • Ensuring business continuity
  • Managing ongoing compliance

EIS information systems are maintained according to the highest security and continuity standards with tightly-controlled access, power and environmental continuity, and off-site failover capabilities. Disaster recovery standards are a mean time to standard business operations of less than 48 hours.
