Privacy Policy
Estate Information Services (EIS) wants you to know and understand the privacy practices of our organization, including its Web sites. This notice defines how we collect and use personal information, and customer's rights with regard to that information.
Our privacy philosophy is simple: we don't share your information unless you give us permission or we are required to by law. Here are the details.
Collection of Information
EIS collects and uses information to respond to your requests for information and services, and to provide a more meaningful and relevant service to visitors. EIS does not accept advertising on our Web sites; they are reserved for the relationship between our own organization and our customers and visitors.
EIS may place links to other Web sites on pages within our own site. These may be links to EIS partner organizations, or to other sites that may be of interest or provide additional relevant information.
EIS privacy policies and practices do not extend to sites that can be accessed through links on any of our Web sites. Their policies may different and EIS is not responsible for what happens with personal information divulged on those sites. If you are concerned, consider a review of their privacy policies before registering or navigating those sites.
Use of Information Collected
While site visitors may navigate the entire site without registering, EIS offers visitors the opportunity to register on the site, and to contact the company directly via an electronic response form. We use that information to make contact with a customer or prospect, and to enrich the visitor experience.
EIS will not voluntarily share personally identifiable information with any other organization without your prior permission. However, EIS may be required to provide personal information in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. Unless prevented by law, we will notify you prior to the release of such information. Under the USA Patriot Act, EIS may be restricted from notifying individuals that the information has been disclosed.
We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may release certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.
Access and review of personal information
EIS is committed to keeping your personal information secure and will take all reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access or misuse. EIS requires all vendors and partners who have access to your information to take the same precautions.
Policy revision notice
If there are changes or additions to this privacy policy, we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we collect online or offline, how we use it and what choices you have. Regardless of any changes we make to our privacy policy, we will only use your personal information in accordance with the version of the privacy policy in place at the time you provided your information, unless you later give your express consent for us to do otherwise.
The most recent policy revision date was April, 1020.
If you have any questions or concerns about the collection and use of personal information, please contact the EIS privacy specialist, Jeff Falk at Jeff.Falk@probate-services.com.
